Your Home dashboard
A tour of the Home dashboard: the setup checklist, analytics snapshot, recent activity feed, and the top-navigation controls.
Home is the first page you see when you open your workspace. It exists to answer two questions at a glance: what should I do next? (the setup checklist) and how is my site doing? (the analytics snapshot and recent activity). This article walks through each part of the page and the controls in the top navigation.
Setup checklist
While your workspace is new, Home shows a setup checklist covering the steps between "account created" and "first email sent" — connecting your site, installing the pixel, importing or capturing contacts, verifying your sender domain, and sending your first broadcast. Items check themselves off as you complete them.
The checklist mirrors the Reach setup checklist article, which explains each step in detail and links to the how-to for each one. If you're setting up a new workspace, work top to bottom — the order matters (for example, you can't measure email revenue in Ana until the pixel is installed).
Analytics snapshot
Below the checklist, Home shows a snapshot of your site's recent performance — a quick read on traffic and results without opening Ana.
The snapshot is a summary, not the full picture. For detailed reporting — trends over time, top products, visitor profiles, and channel attribution — open Ana. Start with the Analytics overview.
If the snapshot shows no data, the usual cause is that the Zalify pixel isn't installed on your site yet, or was installed very recently. See Installing the Zalify pixel, and if it's installed but still empty, run through the Pixel not tracking checklist.
Recent activity
Home also shows a feed of recent activity in your workspace, so you can see what's happened since you last logged in without hunting through each product area.
Use it as a pulse check. To investigate any single item — say, a broadcast's performance or one contact's history — click through to the relevant area rather than relying on the feed.
The top navigation
Three controls in the top nav are worth knowing from day one:
- Search. Find things across your workspace — contacts, emails, campaigns — without navigating to each section first. When you're not sure where something lives, search is faster than browsing.
- Help. Opens help resources from anywhere in the app, so you can look up an article without leaving the page you're working on.
- Settings. The home of workspace administration: team members, sites, sender domains, billing, and developer settings. Articles in this section that live under Settings include Inviting team members and roles and Managing sites.
Where the products live
Home is the hub; the work happens in the three products around it:
- Z1 Canvas is where you design — emails, popups, forms, and creative assets. See the Z1 Canvas overview.
- Reach is where designs run — broadcasts, automations, and audience management. See What is Zalify Reach.
- Ana is where you measure — analytics and attribution powered by the Zalify pixel. See the Analytics overview.
Two more places you'll visit often: Chats, the AI assistant that can draft emails and popups and answer questions about your data (see AI Chats), and your Brand Kit at /brand-kit, where your logo, colors, and fonts live so every design starts on-brand (see Brand Kit).
