Custom section is a blank full-width canvas with an optional background image, hosting any content blocks. Reach for it when none of the purpose-built sections match the layout in your head.
Everything is composed from blocks: stack Text, Button, Image, Group, and Spacer blocks to build announcement panels, oversized statements over a background image, or one-off campaign moments.
If what you're building is "media left, text right", use Image with text instead — you'll get the split layout behavior for free. Custom section is for layouts the other sections don't cover.
