What is a Form?
A Form is how you ask visitors for their details — a popup, a signup box, or a survey.
A Form is the thing on your site that asks a visitor for information — usually their email or phone number, sometimes a name or an answer to a question.
In plain terms
A Form is the ask. It's the box that pops up offering 10% off for your email, the newsletter field in your footer, or a short survey after checkout. It's not the data itself — it's the surface where the data comes in.
Forms come in a few shapes
- A popup you design in Zalify (the most common).
- A hosted form Zalify runs for you.
- Your own form already on your site, connected to Zalify so submissions flow in.
However it looks, a Form's job is the same: collect a few details and hand them to Zalify.
Why it matters
The Form is where a stranger becomes a contact. No form, no email address — and no way to bring that visitor back later. Getting more (and better-placed) forms in front of the right visitors is one of the most direct ways to grow your audience.
How it connects
Every time someone completes a Form, Zalify records a Submission and can add the person to a List.
Try it
The fastest way to see a Form in action is Collect emails with a popup form.
