Plans & what's included

An overview of Zalify's free, paid, and enterprise tiers, and where to manage your plan whether you're billed directly or through Shopify.

Zalify has three tiers: a free plan, paid plans, and enterprise. Where you manage yours depends on how you signed up: Shopify stores choose and change plans through Shopify billing on the Choose Plan page, and everyone else manages their plan on the Billing & Usage page.

What each plan includes

Every plan gives you access to the core Zalify platform — Z1 creative studio, Ana analytics, and Reach marketing automation. What changes between tiers is capacity (contacts, email volume, usage credits) and access to higher-end features.

A few entitlements have their own articles:

  • Email volume and what happens when you hit your quota: Email sending limits & your plan
  • Usage credits for AI generation and other metered features: Usage, credits & auto top-up
  • Video generation credits specifically: Generating videos with AI

Checking your current plan

  1. Open Billing & Usage.
  2. Your current plan is shown at the top, along with your usage against its limits.

If your workspace is connected to a Shopify store, your plan is shown here too, but changes route through Shopify — see below.

Choosing a plan as a Shopify store

If you installed Zalify through Shopify, your subscription is billed by Shopify and appears on your Shopify invoice.

  1. Open the Choose Plan page.
  2. Pick a plan. You're redirected to Shopify to approve the charge.
  3. Approve the subscription in Shopify. Your Zalify plan updates once Shopify confirms it.

Because Shopify owns the billing relationship, card details, invoices, and refunds for these subscriptions are handled by Shopify, not on the Billing & Usage page.

For connecting a store in the first place, see Connecting Shopify.

Choosing a plan everywhere else

If you're not billed through Shopify:

  1. Open Billing & Usage.
  2. Select Upgrade (or Change plan) and pick the plan you want.
  3. Enter or confirm your payment method and confirm the change.

Plan changes, proration, and cancellation are covered in Upgrading, downgrading & cancellation.

Enterprise

Enterprise plans are custom contracts — capacity, features, and pricing are agreed with our team rather than picked from the plan page. To start a conversation, contact us.

Enterprise renewals also work differently from self-serve plans: your plan never downgrades automatically, and you'll receive an expiry email ahead of your renewal date. Details are in Upgrading, downgrading & cancellation.

Frequently asked

Do I need a paid plan to try Zalify? No. The free plan lets you use the platform within its limits, and you can upgrade whenever you outgrow them.

What happens if I go over a limit on my plan? It depends on the limit. Email sending stops at your quota (see Email sending limits & your plan); metered features draw on your credit balance (see Usage, credits & auto top-up).

Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
