What is Zalify Reach?
Reach is where your audience, forms, emails, and live chat come together — you design in Z1 Canvas, and everything runs in Reach.
Zalify Reach is where you manage your audience and talk to it: contacts and lists, forms and popups, email broadcasts and automations, and live chat, all in one place. One thing to understand before anything else: designs are created in Z1 Canvas, and they run in Reach. Z1 Canvas is Zalify's design tool — you build the look of a form, popup, or email there. Reach is where that design goes live: which list a form feeds, when a popup appears, who receives an email, and what the results were.
If you ever ask "where do I edit this?" — the answer is Z1 Canvas. If you ask "where do I control who sees it, when, and what happened after?" — the answer is Reach.
The four parts of Reach
Audience. Every person Reach knows about is a contact. Contacts come from form submissions, order webhooks from your store, imports, and live chat. You organize contacts into lists and segments, and Reach tracks each contact's subscription status so you never email someone who opted out. See Managing contacts and Lists and segments.
Forms & Popups. Forms and popups collect email addresses and other details from visitors. You design them in Z1 Canvas, then connect each one to a list in Reach — every submission becomes a contact on that list. Popup display rules (which pages, how long a delay, exit intent, how often per visitor) are configured on the Pixel Triggers page, not in the form editor. See Creating a form or popup and Controlling when your popup appears.
Emails. Send one-off broadcasts (newsletters, promotions) or set up automations that send based on triggers such as joining a list. Email designs also come from Z1 Canvas; Reach handles the audience, scheduling, sending, and reports. See Sending your first broadcast and Building an automation.
Live Chat. A chat widget on your site lets visitors message you directly. Chat conversations are tied to contacts, so you see who you're talking to and their history.

email broadcast / live chat
automation conversation
A visitor lands on your site. A form or popup captures their details, or the pixel records their activity. That creates or updates a contact. The contact lands on a list, and lists are what you send broadcasts to and what trigger automations. Live chat connects to the same contact record, so every channel shares one view of the person.
The Zalify pixel
The pixel is a small script on your site that powers three things in Reach: popup display, on-site event triggers, and the chat widget. Without the pixel installed, popups won't show and chat won't load — so installing it is the first step of setup. See Zalify pixel and Reach.
Brand Kit
Your Brand Kit — logo, colors, fonts, and company address — lives at /brand-kit in the top-level navigation. It feeds your email footers and templates, so emails stay on-brand without re-entering the same details every time. The {{ company_address }} merge tag pulls the address from Brand Kit automatically. See Brand Kit and Reach.
How Reach relates to other Zalify products
- Z1 Canvas is the design tool. Forms, popups, and emails are built there and managed in Reach.
- Ana is Zalify's attribution and analytics product. Reach tells you how your marketing performed with your audience; Ana tells you where revenue came from.
