Set Up Bing (Microsoft Ads) Pixel
Copy your Microsoft Advertising UET tag ID and paste it into Zalify to track conversions from Bing Ads on your Shopify store — no code required.
Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads) uses the UET tag (Universal Event Tracking) to measure conversions. In Zalify you only need one value — your UET Tag ID — and Zalify fires the standard ecommerce events for you. You do not need to add the UET script to your Shopify theme.
Prerequisites
- A Microsoft Advertising account with a UET tag created.
- Zalify installed on your Shopify store with Zalify Pixels enabled (app embed).
Step 1: Get your UET Tag ID
- In Microsoft Advertising, open Tools → UET tag (under the Conversion tracking section).
- Create a UET tag if you don't have one, then select it.
- Copy the Tag ID — a numeric value. This is your Bing Pixel ID.
Step 2: Enter your Pixel ID in Zalify
- Open the Zalify Dashboard → Pixels → Bing Ads Pixel.
- Click Add Pixel.
- Title — a friendly name (e.g.
Bing). - Bing Pixel ID — paste the UET Tag ID from Step 1.
- Turn Enabled on, then click Save.
Zalify automatically tracks the standard ecommerce events — page view, view content, add to cart, begin checkout, and purchase.
Verify and troubleshoot
- Install the UET Tag Helper Chrome extension and browse your storefront to confirm the tag loads and events fire.
- In Microsoft Advertising, check that the UET tag status shows Active/Receiving data (data can be delayed).
- If another app or theme also loads a UET tag, you may get duplicate counting — prefer a single implementation.
