OpenAI TTS Standard is the default voiceover model in Z1 Canvas. It turns a script into natural speech in one of six built-in voices — Alloy, Echo, Fable, Onyx, Nova and Shimmer — across more than 50 languages, at the lowest per-character rate in Canvas.
It is the model for volume: product descriptions read aloud, ad voiceovers to pair with a generated clip, and quick drafts to time a script before committing to the HD model.

OpenAI TTS Standard is billed per 1,000 characters of the script you submit. The voice you pick doesn't change the price, and every render books a minimum of $0.01.
