Email sending limits & your plan

Find your plan's email quota and current usage on the Subscription tab of Email Settings, learn what happens when you hit the limit, and how to raise it.

Your email sending limit lives on the Subscription tab of the Email Settings page in Zalify Reach. That tab shows your plan's email quota, how much of it you've used in the current period, and options for increasing it.

How your quota works

Each plan includes a set number of emails you can send per billing period. Every email Reach sends on your behalf counts toward it — broadcast sends and automation sends alike.

Your usage resets at the start of each billing period.

To see where you stand:

  1. Open Email Settings in Reach.
  2. Go to the Subscription tab.
  3. Check the usage meter for emails sent versus your quota for the current period.

What happens when you hit the limit

When you reach your quota, Reach stops sending further email until your quota resets or you increase it.

Things to know:

  • Broadcasts:
  • Automations: automation emails that come due while you're over the limit —
  • Notifications:

If a send matters — a launch, a sale — check your remaining quota on the Subscription tab before scheduling it. A broadcast to 20,000 contacts needs 20,000 emails of headroom.

Increasing your limit

If you're regularly close to your quota, you have two options on the Subscription tab:

  • Upgrade your plan. Moving to a higher plan raises your quota.
  • Top up.

If neither option fits — for example, you have a one-off send that's much larger than your normal volume — contact support and we'll help you find the right setup.

Sending less to send better

Before upgrading, it's worth asking whether every send needs to go to your whole list. Two habits stretch a quota and improve deliverability at the same time:

Frequently asked

Does my contact count affect my email quota? Contact storage and email sending are separate.

Do unsent emails from a stopped broadcast count against my quota?

I hit the limit mid-automation. Did my customers miss those emails? You can check what was actually sent to each contact in the email activity feed.
