One usage balance for email, attribution, and AI

Zalify's usage-based features draw from one balance: email sending, conversion attribution, translation, and AI. You can use that balance across features instead of managing a separate quota for each one.

Since September 2026, balances and usage deductions are displayed in US dollars. You do not need to convert credits into currency to understand a charge.

Why a shared balance helps

Separate feature quotas rarely match how a store actually works. One team sends frequent email campaigns; another focuses on attribution. A shared balance lets each team spend its allowance on the features it uses.

The balance covers usage-based platform features. Your subscription fee, managed services, and separately billed apps such as Prepay are not paid from this pool.

How usage is priced

The standard rates below are a guide. Check your workspace's billing settings for any account-specific pricing.

Conversion attribution is different from collecting a page view or other tracking event. The attribution rate does not mean every recorded site event costs US$0.05.

AI tasks do not have a single fixed price. Model choice, token usage, caching, and generation settings can change the cost. Your usage history shows the amount deducted for each billable entry.

Paid plans and included usage

The paid platform plans share the same feature set. Each includes monthly usage equal to its price; seats differ.

Every paid plan starts with a 3-day free trial that includes US$2 of usage; the monthly allowance arrives with the first payment. Workspaces created before October 9, 2026 may still be on the Free plan, which provides tracking and analytics for the most recent 30 days of data and no usage allowance.

Monthly allowance and purchased balance

Your available balance has two parts:

• Plan allowance: included in your subscription and renewed every month, including on annual plans. Unused allowance does not roll over.
• Purchased balance: added through top-ups. Purchased balance does not expire and remains available across billing cycles.

The plan allowance is spent first. Purchased balance is used once that allowance is exhausted.

For example, a Starter account begins a cycle with US$29 of plan allowance. If it also has US$100 of purchased balance and uses US$35 that cycle, US$29 comes from the allowance and US$6 from purchased balance. The remaining US$94 of purchased balance carries forward.

Top up or change plans?

Manual top-up packs start at US$100 for US$100 of balance. The US$500 pack adds US$525 of balance, including a 5% bonus. The US$2,000 pack adds US$2,200, including a 10% bonus.

A larger plan includes more usage and seats, but it is not automatically cheaper than topping up. Compare the total subscription cost, expected usage, required seats, and top-up options. Remember that unused monthly allowance expires, while purchased balance carries forward.

For occasional peaks, a top-up can be useful. For sustained usage or a larger team, compare the next plan against your current plan plus top-ups using the pricing page.

Automatic top-ups and spending controls

When the available balance cannot cover a billable action, an eligible workspace can attempt an automatic top-up through its billing provider. The default top-up amount is US$20; the actual charge depends on your settings, the shortfall, and the remaining billing-cycle limit.

Existing plan allowance and purchased balance are counted before an automatic top-up is needed. You can manage the automatic-charge limit in billing settings.

Automatic top-ups do not guarantee uninterrupted work. If a charge fails or the limit is reached, an action that needs more balance may be paused or blocked. Review the billing notice and add balance or adjust the limit before retrying.

What to check in your account

1. Your plan and seats: confirm the subscription matches your team's needs.
2. Your remaining balances: distinguish the current cycle's allowance from purchased balance.
3. Usage history: review deductions by type, such as email, attribution, translation, or AI.
4. Automatic top-up settings: check the amount and per-cycle charge limit before a large campaign.

Common questions

What happens to purchased balance if I cancel or downgrade?

Purchased balance remains on your account and does not expire. Keeping a balance does not grant access to features outside your current plan; you may need an active paid plan to use it.

Can I try Zalify before paying?

Yes. Every paid plan starts with a 3-day free trial that includes US$2 of usage. Starting the trial needs a card, or approving the charge in Shopify if you're billed through Shopify. Cancel before the trial ends and you aren't charged. Each workspace, Shopify store and card can start one trial.

Are plans and top-ups refundable?

Plans and top-up packs are generally non-refundable. If you suspect a billing error, duplicate charge, or abnormal spending caused by the platform, contact support@zalify.com so the team can investigate and correct any confirmed error.

Does the automatic top-up limit reset?

Yes. The limit applies to a billing cycle and resets with the next cycle, which may not begin on the first day of the calendar month.
