Introducing Zalify Prepay: deposit payments for Shopify

Zalify Prepay lets customers pay a deposit when they order and settle the remaining balance when the order ships, through Shopify's checkout.

For pre-orders, custom products, and goods with a long lead time, asking for full payment can make customers hesitate. Accepting orders without payment, meanwhile, leaves you funding production yourself. A deposit gives customers a smaller initial payment and gives you a paid commitment before fulfillment.

How it works

Choose where to offer deposits. Set rules for specific products, variants, product tags, or your whole store. Choose the deposit amount and show customers the deposit and full-payment options on the product page.

Keep checkout in Shopify. Prepay uses Shopify selling plans and checkout, so customers do not need to visit a separate payment page.

Manage balance collection. Prepay supports collecting the remaining balance when orders ship. You can review payment attempts and retry activity in the app, and follow up on payments that still need attention.

Review orders in one place. See deposits, outstanding balances, fulfillment status, and payment activity together, so your team can identify what has been paid and what remains due.
