Browser Extension Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Zalify — Image to Prompt browser extension: what it collects, why, and the controls you have. It applies only to the extension; the rest of the Zalify platform is covered by our general privacy policy.

What the extension does

The extension lets you turn an image you choose on a web page into an AI image-generation prompt. Analysis runs on Zalify's servers (app.zalify.com) against the Zalify workspace you selected at sign-in, and results are saved to that workspace's prompt history.

Data we collect, and why

• Account information. When you sign in, Zalify issues the extension a workspace-scoped access key and displays your name, email and workspace inside the extension. The key is stored locally in your browser, expires automatically after 90 days, and can be revoked from Zalify at any time.
• The image you select. Only when you explicitly click Prompt (or use the right-click menu on an image) does the extension read that one image. A downscaled copy is sent to Zalify over an encrypted connection for analysis and is not retained after analysis completes; a small thumbnail (up to 32KB) is stored with the result so your history is browsable.
• Page context. The address and title of the page the image came from are stored with the result, so you can find the source later.
• Generated results and usage.The generated prompt, title and style tags are stored in your workspace's history, and each run records a usage charge against your workspace credits in Zalify's billing ledger.

What we do not collect

• No browsing history. The extension does not track, log or transmit the pages you visit.
• No page contentother than the single image you explicitly choose and that page's address and title.
• No keystrokes, form input, cookies or passwords.
• Nothing at all is collected from pages where you never invoke the extension.

Processing and sharing

Selected images are analyzed by third-party AI models acting as Zalify's processors; they receive the image solely to produce the prompt and do not receive your identity. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with unrelated third parties. Our use of data obtained through the extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Retention and your controls

• History entries stay in your workspace until you delete them — from the extension panel or the Prompt history page in Zalify.
• Signing out removes the access key and cached account data from your browser; keys also expire automatically after 90 days.
• Workspace data is otherwise governed by Zalify's general privacy policy.
